I stayed interested enough to listen to the book while watching football. The fact that the author shared his own journey with being unhealthy as a healthcare provider, gave me a sense of comfort in knowing this person is coming from a good and trustworthy place. He covered quite a bit of information from a professional and patient's perspective. Diving into the root cause of why we become afflicted with some of the diseases and conditions that plague society was a huge plus! Lots of resourceful information as it relates to our diet and metabolic health. I highly recommend this book.

I found this book to touch on a broad low carb concepts that can help many improve their health. Carnivore biased and lots of self promotion. Not a book for those with a lot of knowledge on the subject matter.

The only issue is that he constantly reminds the listener of his credentials. The book could be made 10% shorter if he only did this once. Otherwise, fantastic.

I was worried befor reading this book. I had already started the carnavor diet, after trying and failing at the usual recommended diets off and on for years, to help with type2 diabetes and high blood pressure. t wanted to continue learning to make sure it was safe. this book does a great job of explaining how to figure a diet that works for you and why the standard stuff dosnt work. it's a fast read gives you details but is easy to understand.

This book should be read by anyone that’s concerned about their health. It packed with a wealth of information and how to reverse bad habits and live a much more productive life. Highly recommend.

Dr. Ovadia’s advice dovetails nicely with what I have learned from other keto and carni docs. Good, practical tips boiled down for immediate action. My only quibble with the audiobook is the robotic, sing-song style of Dr. Obadiah. He seems like a compassionate and caring man, but his monotonous, repetitive tone makes him sound like a disengaged and disinterested reader.
