I think I always knew I was going to die young. Like I had this… silent, invisible clock ticking down to my final moments plastered above my head. Maybe that’s why I was so reckless, crazy. Seems fitting, I suppose, that I’d die before my twentieth birthday during a freak lightning storm of the century… I just always thought I’d die while doing something dangerous—F*ck it. I’d even take a boring death like simply dying in my sleep from a brain aneurysm or even an early onset heart attack.

Anything.

I’d take any other way other than this...

Wow! I devoured this in 1 day and loved it! Wish there more than five ⭐️ to rate. Check your TW for sure! The audio was amazing cuz Joe Arden is panty dropping as always. The plot had me like DAMN 👀. Sex, sex, sex and more sex 🥵.

Best Spice/Plot Balance

This was my favorite book/audio this year! The spice hit all my favorite tropes and the plot was dark and twisted unique for smut. So good! Joe Arden was perfection as usual, his versatility is unmatched. He can play a college aged jock, a surly criminal justice professor and a pragmatic psychiatrist with artistic flare that gives them their own voice. Don’t hesitate, listen or read this now if you love dark, spicy, twisted stories.

♡Speak was my first read by Ruby & it consumed me from the start! I listened to this on audio & it was absolute perfection! This story has so much depth with twists & turns that will have you at the edge of your seat as you follow Raven our FMC on her track for revenge.

Joe & Heather were both outstanding in their performances. Heather brought our FMC Raven to life & channeled her darkness, vulnerability, & strength so well! Joe was absolutely phenomenal I still can't grasp how talented he is! He voiced our 3 MMCs plus every other male character in this story. If I didn't know there were only 2 narrators I would have thought each male character was voiced by someone different! Joe made it feel like a full-cast narration and it was impeccable!!

If dark, twisty why choose romances are your thing this book is the book for you! I haven't been able to stop thinking about it & I can't wait to hear what book two has in store for us♡
