Amazing narration. FMC has no character development

The fullcast duet narration made this story fun to listen to. And why choose/ reverse harems are my favorite stories. But sometimes this the FMC gets “lost” personality and character development-wise when the author is building up the men’s characters. All we know about her really is that she’s beautiful and she follows the rules of her father because she was sheltered. That’s it. I wish she was developed as a character in a way to make it believable that all these men would be so in love with her so fast. I hope there is more development on her in the next book.

Narration is top tier. I love every narrator and am always thankful to authors that recognize how important it is to choose duet or fullcast duet narration for your books. Sean masters is new to me and my goodness…that man has one hell of a sexy voice. They’re all great. I enjoyed the female narrator as well

The story was good and entertaining. Just want real character development to form to feel connections to them :)

Wow, just wow!!!

I loved this 1st book so much. I can not wait to start book 2. The narrators are amazing,and the story is totally captivating. I highly recommend starting this trilogy!!

Loved the duet narration!

I read the book and loved it but listening was a whole experience. This is the way a multicharacter book should be done. A narrator for each main character performed duet style. I wish every book was done this way. I can't wait until book 2 is available.

full cast in duet is always my weakness

I broke my ‘no MFM rule’ because reviews say there’s MM in books 2-3… PLUS, it’s duet full cast for the audiobook which is my favvv esp with why choose books.
I have a feeling Liam is going to make the MM happen in the next books tho — boy is already trying 😂

I do love that the group dynamic started with her and not the guy, so it’s not just him sharing her with his friends — esp since it’s an arranged marriage.

THE ENDING??!

I listened to this on audio and read along when I could on my kindle. BUT THAT ENDING???? I was washing dishes when it was just over???? My heart saaaank. Immediately went to download the second book on kindle. This is one I cannot wait for the audio on. 😭

I loved reading this as an early copy and now that it has an audio! ⭐️♾️🌶️♾️ these four men are so far gone for the campus princess it just keeps getting better! Patiently waiting for book 2 in audio!! And I need book 3 answersssss READ THIS NOW!!

Intense and sexy!

I loved the protectiveness of the MMC’s. I was enthralled from the very beginning! It’s dark and mysterious centered around an old secret society that see women as a vessel for heirs and not much else but the main characters have formed a bond to navigate the treacherous grounds together. There is an element of bullying that was a little intense but with a twist you don’t see coming!! Smoking hot scenes along the way that keep the book sizzling until the CLIFFHANGER!

Cliffhanger Heaven!!

I love the story and the concept and also the fact is does not give the woman this goddess energy more so an experience feel. Its truly a good beginning to keep you begging for book 2.

MGood Gods I am absolutely in love and utterly feral over this story, these characters, and this full-cast duet style audiobook!! Whew!

Deceit by Katelyn Taylor is the first book in the Gallows Hill series, and I devoured this audiobook as I read along in my kindle!

I was immediately draw into the story, the arranged marriage, the intriguing elements of this university and town, the characters, the forbidden and bullying elements gahhh I could not put this down! Each character felt unique, well developed, and I loved them, hate to love moments and all!

I was so incredibly immersed into this world listening to the PHENOMENAL narration performances by Amy Hall, Sean Masters, Edward Black, Sebastian York and Devon Ryder. These narrators gave all of the feels bringing these characters to life via audio!

Each and every moment of banter, anger, tension, spice, I felt it all and MY HEART. I sobbed, swung hands wildly into the air with rage, swooned, and was just absolutely feral.

Gripping dark romance

MESMERIZED. Legit the audio for this series is just SO fantastic. I love a full cast duet narration and this one is QUITE a full cast, with so many amazing characters. Amy Hall brings a lot of intensity and depth to our heroine, and Sean Masters yet again proves he's meant to narrative dark and gritty heroes. Sebastian York is also epically delicious. The voices are distinct, all the actors capture the characters, and the overall story line is just so delicious and addictive. Of course we have a bit of a cliffhanger and lots and lots of drama (if you dont like OW drama this one might not be for you)....but I'm loving this series.
