I really enjoyed the first book and this one was no different. I love books with multiple pov, behind the scenes scheming action and comedy. I found myself rewinding a lot as there is a lot going on but that's not a complaint. looking forward to more.

male narrator and translator need replaced
he's constantly saying lines that are meant for female characters and it destroys the immersion when I need to stop to think about why one character said something the other should have. way more issues than just that, like saying the wrong word in a sentence. the translator is also making WAY too many mistakes. you can't just Google translate an entire book and expect it to be good. GET AN EDITOR.
The amount of ideas in this series that are wholesale stolen from other works is also alarming. I want to say roughly 50% of the world and character concepts are stolen from anime, movies, and other works without any kudos to where the idea originally came from.
