As far as other books in this genre it is better then most of them out there and takes a tamer approach to the intimate scenes. Though despite it being called hexblade it isn't actually scene in the book and is hopefully in the next book.

a unique beginning
The story progression is understandable and other elements are important as well and represented. You didn't expect spoilers did you? can't wait for book 2.

actually surprisingly good.
I really liked the character building and teamwork. i like seeing the others(non MC) doing thier bit in the story. I actually want the next in the series now.. 🧐 but it appears to be hidding.. on the authors creative word processor.

Mr. Spry and Mr. Sloss hats off gents
This is the start of something amazing. I miss the Spry & Sloss spice but I’ve thoroughly enjoyed this regardless! I LOVED MMM but this is another level entirely. And narrators Brock and Cane I’ve been listening to your work for years now. From Dungeon Hero’s 1 to this is like two different narrators. Fantastic job all around.

Great first book unique and amazing
Great book that was very different (in a good way) from other books in this genre. A lot of action as well as character development. MC is well developed and not just two dimensional. Can’t wait for the next book.

great book
can't wait for the next book on here. the author did a great job and the reader AKA voice actors did very well also for someone who doesn't get to read that much to have books like this on tape is great

"You don't own me"...
Quickest way for me to drop a book. If I got told that from someone who wants to have a potential relationship with me just from wanting to hold hands, I would rethink a future relationship. That is the most toxic way to deny affection.
