Satan's Spawn

Satan's Spawn is the first book in the Royal Heathens series. This is a dark high school bully romance between Crayton and Rebecca and is told from both of their points of view.

Rebecca has just moved to a new town and is now attending a new high school. Crayton sees Rebecca and instantly hates her because of something that happened in his past.

Rebecca does not have an easy time at this new school with Crayton bullying her. As Crayton is bullying her she also starts to develop feelings for her.

Can Rebecca get past how Crayton has treated her? Can Crayton get past what has happened in the past? There were some parts of this book that I was like what is going on? However, I would continue on in the series to see what happens next in this series.

Excellent Audiobook

This is the first audiobook I've read/listened to written by Jenna Styx. It was a long one, and I didn't want to pause it. Was glad to be traveling for minimal interruptions! This was a bullies, enemies to lovers romance that had me completely invested in the characters. So much so that I cannot wait to listen to the next book! Do pay attention to the warnings. Some blood play almost made me physically ill. I will say this is probably one of the best endings I've read yet, and why I'm giving it five stars!

Cecily Foster and Michael Norman Johnson brought these characters together life with emotional performances that had it rolling like a movie in my head. It was perfection. Love their voices.

Great story

This was my 1st book by Jenna And I loved it. Book 1 of the royal heathens And it was filled with action, adventure, drama enemies to lovers, dark and super super addicting.#TheFlockonTour

Satan's Spawn is book one in the Royal Heathens series. This is my first book by Jenna Styx. I really enjoyed this book. I recommend checking Trigger Warnings before reading. I can't wait for book two.

Cecily Foster and Michael Norman Johnson did a great job narrating this book.

Intense and Raw!

This was my first Jenna Styx's book, and won't be my last. This is the first book in the Royal Heathens series, a dark high school bully full length romance. Crayton and Rebecca's story is intense, raw, and captivating, filled with drama, intrigue, and twists and turns. They are both enigmatic characters. Cecily Foster and Michael Norman Johnson did a fantastic job bringing these characters and this story to life. Looking forward to more in the series. #PFPAudio

Dark High School Bully Romance

That prologue was another life ago but it captured my attention and held it all the way until the end of the story. Crayton and Bex's story is built on tortured pasts, tragedy, childhood trauma (which is told through flashbacks) and bullying. Crayton is dark and morally gray at best. Bex is the light that could bring this bad boy to his knees. Their story is captivating with lots of twists and turns. While this did not end in a real cliffhanger, their story is not quite complete so I would expect there will be a follow-up in future books in this series for them as supporting characters. I'm looking forward to Saint and Hendrix's story which appears to be the next book in the series. Both Cecily Foster and Michael Norman Johnson did a great job bringing these characters to life.

I am debating between 3-3.5*
Narrators 4*

The narrators did a good job. This is a first for me. I found the story dark and twisted but also a bit disturbing and weird. There were flashback to a sick and traumatic childhood. I couldn't understand how they were just high schoolers and wondered why they stayed in dorms and picked and choose if they would go home for the weekend. I liked the bully concept but think somethings went a bit too far. So I can only say I liked part of the story.

Who doesn't love a bad boy

From the first chapter this book had me so intrigued, it's so worth the read. Make sure to check your trigger warnings. As it is a dark romance. I was here for the spicy scenes some of the hottest I have ever read. I can't wait to read the rest of the series! Highly recommend it if you haven't read it.

I arc read the ebook and when I seen it was coming out on audio I knew I had to have it. The narration was really well done.
