Good book

I like the story and the narration. It's a fun book to listen to and not go to deep.

Poor word choice and diction.

The writer and editor need to improve overall. There really is no excuse for the level of incompetence present in the writing, which has not improved across four books.

Exciting story

story plays out in such a way that pushes your imagination and makes you hunger for the next steps in the evolution of this dark protagonist.

Best one in the series so far! Loved the overall story and the change in pace compared to the past few books. A lot more happens!

Poor writing and delivery

The writing read more like a draft rather than a finished product. Which made it all the worse when deliver was poor. Character interactions were clunky and altogether jarring. The characters were unlikable and moved too quickly into the worshiping of the MC. The MC himself isn’t a likable person because he’s poorly written and the delivery of his lines feels deadpan and super forced.
Overall I’d say the story needs to be fine tuned quite a bit more.
