great story.

voice actor is really good. I very much enjoyed this the whole time. you will not regret listening to this the whole way.

Solid LITRPG

A very good example of this subgenre. An overpowered protagonist in a very well crafted world. I highly enjoyed the magic system and the unique interplays used here.

Great story and narration! I grabbed the first 3 and just before starting 4 this came out. Easier reread!

Good story of bad being good.

I HATE that book four the "coin flip" was not actually used. rose's explanation is invalid as silver discharged the weapon multiple times meaning it would not have accidentally discharged later

On Net Good

I think I like this overall. it does a great job of making an OP MC make sense. He was challenging at times for me to root for but I think having all 4 books made me want to continue I otherwise I think I might've only read 1 - 2 books. Either way good value. I like the narrator.

Started off okay

The first 2 books in this set were okay. The author rambles on too much. He tends to go off on tangents that only partially contributes to the storyline. I think I need to avoid undead stories. Authors tend to go into too much details which is fine to a point until it becomes disturbing. The author of this series actually does a fairly good job keeping things reasonably.
Book 3-4, the story starts to slow down and the author rambles more. I’m struggling to finish the 4th book. (I’m in the last 2-3 hrs) I got the app running at 3.0 speed reading. I think a lot of this is my personal preference. Others may enjoy this story more than I, but I think I will stop at book 4.
We all have our own preferences in stories, so even though I don’t care for this series. You might love it, so at least give it a go.

One long side quest

Eventhough I liked the premise of the series and the main character character of the book, the book lacks direction. It feels like I'm listening to a compilation of side stories that eventually starts to come together and create a bigger plot. I ended up spacing out on a lot of parts due to the fact that it feels like what's going on is irrelevant. The main plot and main character are really interesting, but the author decides not to focus on it and instead keeps creating a lot of convoluted sub-plots that aren't that interesting and just tired me out.

Couldn't get into it.

Seems like a good idea but the story flops. No real progression, and no real understanding of how the character actually gets better.

Fun listen but

be aware that while Sylver fully and openly admits that he is a monster that the book itself centers around might is not right torture solves our problems and can dip into some pretty hard places violently. as far as the relationship goes unless they are specifically a friend sexuality is the first focus
that out of the way it was a genuinely fun listen though I would have mixed feelings about sharing it without making sure someone is aware of those elements and I understand there are a lot of people who wouldn't be able to enjoy the book because of those.

Great story, but the writing is rough.

The story, characters, and general progression is good, but by the end of book two I was having to skip about 10-20% of the story because it was just repeated paranoid internal monologue. It wasn’t even new thoughts it was just continuously harping on the same conspiracies over and over.
