simply amazing!

this is an incredibly well thought out story and magic system. I constantly find myself in aww. Some of the coolest and most origional action, character, and story sequences that I've ever come across in all my 35 years of complete needing out on magical media outlets. Voice actor gives a good performance as well!

Story and characters

Love it! keep em coming man. Will definitely pre-order the next one. Ashlocke makes being a tree cool 😎

If a bit of a slog at times, its well worth it.

Sometimes it feels like the story gets a bit lost in the cultivation stuff, fights can go on a bit long considering the power levels involved, and sometimes characters try to do things the author clearly thinks are cool. Sometimes the whole system and sacrificial credits get brought up more then talking about how the tree is feeling.

All of this is fine-it strikes a fair balance. And the payoff for the last 4ish hours of the book is well worth it. Could the villains be better? Absolutely. Nox especially is just a bit of a miss on me. She is, what I'd call, the anime villain. She wants power, bu she never wants powet for anything but herself. Dante gets a bit of a character arc, and that was nice, but it feels a bit too little too late when it comes to him.

I do hope to see more grounded families actingbas the main enemies. While many elders are relatively grounded, he's been facing mostly comicly evil people who think of nothing but stealing power.

Cheers to the author on the effort though. Stella and Diana in particular are great. Most of the reason to read honestly.

Fast-paced

Very engaging and the plot moves quickly. The story has definitely progressed a lot in this book. Loved it.

Great in every way!

I feel like this book had everything I wanted and more. Litrpg aspects, civilization building, politics and meaningful fights. Also the opportunity to see scenarios that ask great questions if you want. If you read the first two books you will not be disappointed, it’s an upgrade to an already awesome series.

amazing if you like a story with great characters and an amazing plot and the skill development system involved, makes you wanting more. keep it up!

The narrator’s voice is so monotone yet emotional. Perfect for a tree, really adds to the experience :)
