I love the slowly growing menagerie of animal sidekicks and his efforts to properly quantify production methods instead of "put in pot, pray pills come out" as he works to become powerful though the power of being a drug kingpin

An enjoyable light story

It was an enjoyable for me, with nice characters and a very good performance from the narrator.
Unfortunately it requires the reader to be familiar with cultivation tropes to be able to enjoy it fully.
I can't wait for the next book.

entertaining with a good length

I liked the book. it had some similarities to beware of chicken at the start but branches off into its own neat story. I'll definitely buy the next book

its got a spot in the genre....

maybe a sub genre.? it is a cultivation novel. more slice of life then murder hobo or harem ... the details aren't on the path to over explain the key to science differentials ya only one real hard science fact.
I liked it that way cause it did go more slice of life human path.
it did seem kind of disjointed at some parts so the ADD went oh what. rewind what the truck oh that was nothing... kind of like the first two sentences in a high school essay. it sells ya stuff but the details to micro manage your mental movie aren't there.
some will like it some won't. I'll pick up book two it see what happens.

Fun take on cultivation novels.

I saw this pop up while slogging through a other cultivation novel and just switched to listening to this on a whim. perhaps the heavens put it in my path.

This hits well with those tired of the regular cultivation recipe.

The story was intriguing.

Different plots and enough levity and comedy to come together well. I enjoyed the listen and the reading was done wonderfully. enough voices to keep me engaged.

Great start and take on the story

The story takes the reincarnated teope and gives it a nice twist. It also explores things in a different than others. I really appreciate it.

I’ll read next volume, hopefully the pace will be the same as second half. :)

First half was a bit slow but last half was much better. Did I enjoy it? yes. Will I reread? No. Will I read next vol? Yes :)

Better than most

Over all a pleasant read. There were some elements that I didn't care for and the constant pokeman nods was distracting at best.
