Great series
The story is amazing and the narration really brings it together. Definitely recommend to anyone who watched the anime and want to check out the light novel, but without having to read.

The Same as the Others
If you are ok with the awkward, stiff wording and terrible narration of the other books, then this is more of the same. I absolutely love to anime and am glad I had watched it first because realistically, these books are not that great on their own. However, since the author consistently explains everything instead of actually writing it into the story and letting us get it by context, it actually serves quite well as a companion guide for anime fans. In this episode, we learn mor about the princess and see the beginnings of the takeover of E-Rantel by sewing chaos while retrieving Sebas's human pet girl.

amazing listen
So much more detail than the anime. The readers voice acting for each character is pretty much spot on. The story being told is great. some items not discussed in the anime where told and brings everything together even better. for example more information told about Evil Eye. ready for the next book cant wait

Great series and great narrator!
Chris Guerrero is impressive! I just love Kugane Maruyama’s Overlord series. The story really comes alive with such great narration. I hope Chris does all the books!

Barring the TL differences, enjoyable.
The difference between the LN translation choices vs the later anime translator choices with the benefit of hearing the Japanese actually say some of those names is still prevalent. It's a little jarring to hear those name differences, but overall an okay experience
