only down side is waiting for more

A truly excellent book worth getting and absolutely worth listening to. I love the detail and expanded story to the anime.

Anime still better but

The anime still much better and action packed but
This book actually gives you more insights about the events of the anime And the fact that is monica real the VA who voiced Tanya in the anime is just better
I recommend this book if you like the anime but felt like there should be more to the story

Better details then the anime

The anime was a fun watch, but listening to how things go about with more detail seems more engaging.

It's great to hear the same VA for Tanya from the English dub of the anime.

Surprisingly good

As someone who hasn’t read the manga or watched the anime, I was skeptical about this book. Many of the reviews referenced one, the other, or both and how good or bad the audiobook version was in comparison. But I’m surprised at how much I enjoyed the story. Much of the military jargon sailed right over my head, so it’s nice that they took the time to explain the concepts referenced.

The performance was also amazing as well. Though having a professional anime dub voice actor does help. Monica Rial’s acting gives off that perfect sadistic drill sergeant while still sounding like she’s not old enough to drive.

i thought it was absolutely amazing. i love the anime and got audible originally looking for classroom of the elite but found this instead. fantastic job by the narrator. loved the story and the themes that come along with it. overall a very good audiobook.

A most for fans of the anime

If you are a fan of the show this book does a really good job of filling in all the missing gaps of the first 4 episodes. You also get to know more about Tanya and the world itself even better then what is shown in the show. A huge bonus for fans of the English dub is that Tanya's voice actor is the narrator for this book which is a really nice touch.

I love the story the narrator is perfect for it

love the book, now audible just needs to get the others out fast, but loved how they went in to great detail. you get to get into Tanya's mind and how she thinks.
