About this listen

The complete series in a single offering

Zach Riley is a man on the run… from something, or someone, that he just can’t figure out. What, pray tell, might that be? Women who are around him want to jump him, and get him into bed. But Zach can’t figure out why! He simply can’t take it anymore, so he escapes, taking refuge in his own spaceship and he never, ever, leaves it. But his comfortable, if lonely, lifestyle is suddenly thrown into chaos. Little does he know that he has nanobots inside him, that are controlling his pheromones. That’s what made women desire him so much!

One issue: these Nanobots? They’re illegal. And anyone found with them is hunted and killed, so as to prevent the universe from ever going through another Nano War. As such, Zach is pursued by the authorities. With the help of his ship’s AI, he tries to escape an almost-certain death sentence. However, as he’s fleeing to another dimension where he knows he will be safe, a God snatches his up ship during the transfer. Things never go as planned, do they? And now that God is asking Zack to help bring true magic back to his realm.

Will there be consequences for doing this? Probably. But at the moment, Zach has no idea what they could be. Rewards? Sure. What are the requirements? Well, it necessitates sleeping with a bevy of beautiful women who aren’t human, but who are just as stunningly gorgeous as their human counterparts. One of the rewards will be to have riches beyond his wildest dreams… if he grabs that brass ring and goes for it. Zach needs to teach magic to others, but first, he needs to start with women. It’s a good thing that Zach has no problem being with women—lots of women—human or otherwise. Because, in this dimension, aliens are the norm, and here, he is the alien. To the women of this world, that makes him quite exotic.

Join Zack as he learns that the Nanobots inside him make him very unique in controlling energies, including Magical ones. One day, that particular ability may let him restore something that has been lost for eons.

Different than usual

This was a different series than usual. Very good series and for a single credit you get a lot of great characters and good worldbuilding. Highly recomended

Overall

The story felt rushed at the end. It felt as though the author was in a rush to complete it. The ending could have been expanded and added another book. Overall though it was decent.

Spaceman and his AI in a fantasy world.

This series is awesome!
It's great to have it all in one book.
This story is about a man and his ship's AI getting pulled into another dimension and world by a god that needs the MC's nanobots and DNA to help the people on one of his worlds from dying off.
The only real, and biggest, problem I have with the story is that somehow the nanobots become the complete solution but the DNA issue is never addressed satisfactorily.
It's not a big deal to me that the spice in this book is monogamous and there's no harem even though it's what is expected from the beginning, but it doesn't make sense. And I've read/listened to this series 3 times.
I really do love this story despite this issue.
I'm giving this book 8 out of 5 stars.

Wasted potential

The theme was good but the actual story was misrepresented I thought I was purchasing a Haremlit and I only finished it because I didn’t want to waste my credits I mean what guy would would hate that situation unless he suffered from ED that’s the only way but even then it’s not like guys with ED can’t ejaculate. One of the only good things were the voice actors even as horrible as this story was they made the characters come to life

Eh...

D. Levesque can write a very good story. But at times they seem to either forget what was mentioned earlier or outright change it to fit the current part. The male VA was rather flat at times as well with sections being oddly quiet and hard to hear.

If you can deal with those issues it is a good story collection and I personally will eventually be continuing with part 4 of the series.

At Last a complete series

Shanghai, Isekai this series has bit of both. Corrupt government officials check, a greedy self centered King and court check, Monsters with power cores check. Beautiful damsel and handsome saviors check and check.

Really a fun edible to listen too with great narrators .

Not for me

Harem books are not everyone’s choice but this is an anti harem book. From the first chapter of this book , the mc avoids women and sex like it will kill him. The entire book is the mc finding new ways not to have sex.
The world building is non existent. He has new magic that he doesn’t no how to use and does not try to find out how to use it or build it.
After 10 hours of this book I still do not know what the goal is. Eve when we find out killing monsters builds his power a little he doesn’t. A god wants him to have sex and pass magic to his people, he doesn’t. He can convert a spoon into a fortune in gold , he does , once. Since he has zero goals I guess he does not need gold.
Had to give up on this one
