About this listen

Demons are real. The supernatural is real. Magic is real. One man can become the master of all.

Wes is working the hotel lobby the night his life changes forever. Called to the top floor to deal with rowdy patrons, he finds himself in a high stakes poker game alongside a beautiful woman who is, apparently, a demoness. To make the night crazier, the game ends with a startling revelation: Wes is a Warlock.

Wes can bind demons to his will and command the infernal elements.

With his newfound powers, Wes will have no shortage of new hellish friends, but his enemies are almost equal in number. Among them are the famed Knights Templar, who have a keen interest in Earth's latest Warlock.

Armed with the staff of Solomon the First Warlock and surrounded by demonesses under his power, Wes aims not to be yet another dead member of the quickly diminishing Warlock population.

More epic than expected.

This is a great HaremLit series, where the MC finds out in a very pants soiling way that he is a warlock and that the things that are in fantasy stories and ho bump in the night, are real.
Demonesses, genies, succubuses and all sorts of beautiful females want to become his familiars and part of his harem.
Lots of spice, action, adventure and wonderful characters.
I'm giving this book 8 out of 5 stars.

Not a great MC

Incompetent MC fumbles his way through the plot-armor heavy story. The only thing I felt DK got right was the sex scenes, and even those bordered on eyebrow raising. The dialogue was awful. It was only barely tolerable because of the Narrator’s performance. Too many cliches and predictable phrases. I’m very upset with how useless the MC is up until Chapter 16…of the 3rd @&\£ing book…
I listened to the whole thing and the ending was underwhelming…probably because the MC was being a dick-driven idiot and all of the baddies know all of the steps the MC will take…it’s just a lot of frustration. I’m also super picky so it could be just me but some of the reviews for the individual books makes me think I’m not alone. This feels like one of DK’s first publishing attempts because there was so much that was seemingly overlooked plot-wise. I would not listen to this if I had it to do over again. But if you want 32 hours of pseudo- coherent story then try it out.

not a fantasy novel, more like a trash novel

This novel is so poorly written it is a waste of money. if I could rate it lower than one star I would have.
the wright has no concept on fighting or wild sex so the book is a complete failure.

MC

The MC had no real growth in his character. He started as a whiny and stupid boy and stayed that way until the end.

Reader did her best, but couldn't make this crap any better.

Are we really down to publishing 12 year olds writing down their incoherent wet dreams and daydreams? This is another for the never waste time or money list of "authors". This moron has no idea of a storyline beyond the most recent porn flick he apparently watches nonstop with the idea that it's reality. This is actually worse than anything called an audiobook I have ever experienced. I don't understand how the reader could stomach the job. This garbage is the definition of adolescent misogyny. Returning this trash immediately.
