MC has poor judgement

The first women the MC gets into a relationship has a daughter. Later the MC adds the daughter to his harem and the mom is okay with it as long as they don’t talk details. Later in the series, the MC adds a female that had been threatening to the daughter to the harem and daughter and mom are okay with it. Stopped listening at that point. Narrator did a great job but couldn’t keep going.

Voice talent not well suited to context. The slice of life story line was interesting enough, but he fun bits were almost comedic in how they were read.

I love a good long omnibus. Having the series all in one book really fills an OCD need of mine. 😁
This is such a great HaremLit slice-of-life story.
The magic, the spicy action and the characters from so many different magical races really make this a story you wish you were actually a part of.
I can't wait for this author's other series, Frontier Summoner to be in an omnibus.
Great writing and narration.
I'm giving this book/series 8 out of 5 stars.

Good story

A good story, the male protagonist voice didn’t really seem to fit the character though. And the story was confusing at times, one moment talking about being North Dakota and then for what seemed like an hour drive being near Lake Erie and Cleveland. So not sure what state the story is supposed to be taking place

horribly written

this book sounds like a teenager wrote it. I couldn't finish it, the dirty talk and personalities seemed so shallow and elementary. not sure if the narrator made it sound worse than it is, or if I just didn't realize how bad it was when I originally read it.

the underlining message of family and happiness above wealth and power

I was not very fond of the frequency of the sex scenes. whole chapters dedicated, in detail, to the act. when compared to the detail of the daily life and the battles, the sex scene were horrifically overdone. what was missing from this book was balance. more time devoted to the details of the characters daily life as well as the fight scene while pulling a little back from the sex would have made this book series explode. there was a healthy amount of character development and plot development which kept me coming back, sadly only to find myself pressing chapter skip once I realized that it was yet another sex chapter. however the underlining message of "Love and family are worth far more then wealth and power" is the true golden egg in the mess.

Fun and Entertaining

This was a fun and enjoyable series, was a little different from your normal mage type of book but to me that is one of the things that made it so enjoyable. My one main comment is that I truly hope that they give Scarlet Valene much more credit for her voice acting because I do believe that by the end that young lady was doing the voice of at least 7 to 9 different characters and doing a rather nice job with it.

No tension, no complications, everything's perfect

I've tried to get all the 60+ hour audiobooks, I like a long listen. Several of the Harem tales have been interesting.

This story. The MC is a rich kid, set up for life. His father dies and leaves him a cabin. He goes to check it out and a series of all-gorgeous ladies flirt with him and tell him exactly what he wants to hear. He's given magic powers despite the lack of any threats, and then he has sex 20 or so times that first day. All the ladies want him, they all tell him what he wants to hear and everything is fantastic each time.

It's definitely non-complicated, but they all come off as 0-dimensional characters. If you like a very long, no action, pedestrian sex story, maybe you'll like this. But for me, all the other long harems are better than this one.

Not the best

“Baby” was used WAY TOO OFTEN in the sex scenes. Main Character was not challenged in any real way. Very laidback story telling with no real obstacles for the main character to overcome. Not the best story I’ve listened to.
