What an incredibly practical guide full of insights and tips!

I’m so excited about this book! My 14-year old son used to love soccer and played with passion. As he got older, the excitement faded, and criticism affected him negatively. I love how this book teaches kids to use criticism to their advantage. I can’t wait to share this with my son. A Terrific Listen for your Young Soccer Player

I truly enjoyed Ryan Rosenthal's wonderful and thought provoking approach to building character and enhancing the performance of young athletes. This is a deep dive into the game of soccer and the developmental approach to becoming a successful player. Soccer is such a popular entry point of sports for young people but it often ends there as kids move on to other sports. This is a perfect listening experience for the child that really engages with soccer or any other sport for that matter.
Although the focus is soccer.....the messages truly transcend to many aspects of life in general.

Amazing!!! I hope the kids listen, learn and do.

I liked the title of this book, and I like improving myself that is why I got the book even though I am not a young athlete I do exercise, and I sometimes lack confidence. I am constantly striving to improve and thirst for ways to get better and stronger. This book did help me. Some of it reminded me of lessons I learned the hard way and some of it taught me new ways to look at myself improvement. The kids the author coaches are lucky to have him. I liked the positive way the author teaches and the synergistic methods of teamwork that is suggested throughout. I will now need to research the names and stories of the athletes used as examples throughout. This book is vitally important to young athletes.
