Build your child's confidence

One of the best parts of the book was the section on communication. The techniques for fostering understanding and empathy have really helped how I interact with my child. It's getting easier to have more meaningful and calm conversations. The advice on managing public outbursts was another good one. It gave me practical steps to handle these situations with composure.

But my favorite part was the emphasis on building my child’s confidence. The self-esteem tips were practical and easy to integrate into our daily routine. Seeing my child light up with pride after small wins is so rewarding.

Genuine and Supportive Insights

This audiobook is a compassionate resource for navigating the complexities of parenting a child with ADHD. What most struck me was the emphasis on communication. I appreciated it being a reminder to focus on connection rather than frustration. The practical tone was approachable, and the narrator's even-keel delivery served to keep the material interesting at all times, even at the heavier moments. Those looking for guidance to bring out their empathetic, growing soul will find the basis they need within these words, but not too overwhelming for a listener.

Excellent!

I just finished listening to this, and it is incredibly helpful. The audiobook gave me clear advice that was well explained on understanding ADHD, how to improve my communication with my daughter, and building strategies to support her success. The section where the author goes into the importance ( and difficulty) of patience was very good, and I learned a lot from it.
