Engenders impassioned change from listeners
Although the many tenets of attachment-styles (whether anxious, avoidant, dismissive, etc.) seem to be so impossible to overcome and work through, the fact is that they can be changed so long as the sufferer of such behaviors and traits is willing to not only educate themselves in where these kinds of behaviors come from (lots of looking to the past here to change the present/future), but also in actionable steps to basically rewire their brain so that their decisions are not based on pain and fear but authenticity and a joy for life and their future. In my opinion, many people with certain attachment styles have been almost kind of demonized by many YouTube channels, and I don’t think that’s fair. Those with certain attachment styles have suffered and are often actually quite traumatized. So what is needed here is a high level of patience and compassion, for oneself and others, and Julie Shaughnessy does a fantastic job of engendering such compassionate, impassioned change from the listener. At least, it did in me.
