This is a well-narrated and professionally written audiobook. It was good to know the relevance of the topic for awareness that Americans are the most stressed people above the global average. What a gem!
This book is truly a gem! As someone who has been interested in mindfulness and meditation for a while, I found this book to be a perfect resource for both beginners and seasoned practitioners.
JM Loyal does an excellent job of explaining why meditation and mindfulness practices are so important and how they can benefit us in our daily lives. I found this particularly relevant because I have been dealing with a lot of stress lately, and this really resonated with me. Loyal provides practical guidance for beginners to get started with mindful breathing, which I found to be very useful since I have struggled with this a lot in the past. I plan on incorporating these tips into my daily practice.
I had never really considered the benefits of combining movement and mindfulness, but Loyal explains how this can benefit us both physically and emotionally, which I found to be very compelling.
Overall, the main takeaway from the book is that meditation, mindfulness, and contemplation are powerful tools for managing stress and cultivating a sense of peace in daily life. Loyal does an excellent job of presenting these concepts in an accessible way, with practical guidance for beginners. I highly recommend this audiobook to anyone who is interested in exploring these practices further.
One thing I have to mention is that the narrator was such a pleasure to listen to. Their voice was soothing and calming, which really added to the overall experience of listening to this audiobook. I honestly cannot recommend this book enough!

Great tools for meditation practice.
First of all, I’ve been practicing meditation for years. But this book really helped to give me a better understanding of how, and why meditation works, and several other great practices for mindfulness that I hadn’t used before. Full spectrum of info on meditation
I was surprised and impressed with the amount of information contained in this book. I was expecting to learn some breathing and meditation techniques and activities, but was pleased to find much more. The author covers the science behind what mindfulness, breathing, and meditation can do in our bodies and our lives, as well as different ways to practice depending on individual needs. I especially enjoyed the sections on how to incorporate meditation into our children's lives to help them not only face the challenges of life, but also grow into well-adjusted, healthy adults. I never considered having children meditate on a regular basis. What a good idea! I recommend this book for anyone wanting to incorporate more balance into their body, mind, and spirit.
