Kirk Jensen is living the dream. He was offered his dream job, slapped handcuffs on his nemesis, and is going to get the murder charges hanging over June's head dismissed. Now, Kirk has a choice to make. Does he take the job he's always wanted since he was a kid, uproot his growing pack, and move across the country? Or, does he continue to be the best small-town cop Alaska has ever seen? Whatever his choice, he is no longer an obscure bear shifter living on an island in the middle of nowhere. Things are taking notice. Not just witches, hunters, and shifters, but other creatures that the FBI is responsible for policing. Beings that even alpha shifters need to be wary of.
If he takes the job, those new threats are the things he'll have to uphold the law against. Plus, some old ones too. His homicidal grandmother is still lurking around somewhere and he doesn't know half of what she is capable of. Thankfully, he's got the love and support of his pack behind him.
