entertaining nonstop action

so many twists and turns, sometimes the dial turned nonstop at 10 felt like too much, but everything worked

An Interesting Concept

This book opens in the middle of action and grabs you, and then becomes very adequate. It wasn't bad, but not memorable or exciting imo. Decent dialog and story development. I enjoyed the concept of a "whodunit" on the open sea.

The "plot twist" was somewhat predictable, especially if you're paying attention when one of the characters says the name of the book while in conversation. There was not much voice variation from the audiobook narrator. Overall, a good read.

Phenomenal thriller

This story is *chefs kiss*. I am obsessed with Olivia and her strength. The narrator did such an amazing job on this. Listened to her with Feeders and fell in love so I was stoked to see her do another one of Caleb Stephens books.
Highly recommend this thriller for anyone looking for a cult who gets people stuck on a yacht. It’s a high stakes cat and mouse thriller full of emotion and wtf moments.

Fun thriller. Could easily see this being a great movie if someone wanted to adapt the script

Could not stand the Narrator

The narrators voice ruined it for me. I wanted to love the story but couldn’t get into it and actually felt bored. I gave it until chapter 11 before I decided it wasn’t for me.

Must read

I enjoyed this book so much, the twist I wasn’t expecting and the story line that keep me reading and wanting more! Definitely recommend can’t wait to read more from this author.

Wow. Such a captivating boat ride. Cults are no joke for sure. Complete think this could have happened in real life. Yicks.

If You Lie

I absolutely loved, “The Girls in the Cabin” and had high hopes for this one also.
Although I didn’t love it as much as the previous book I read by Caleb, this was still a good read.
I love the cover, I think it’s beautiful.
I like the concept of the book but after reading this I’m wondering if maybe I’m not into cult type books?
I did think certain parts dragged on. Especially over explaining and focusing on certain characters for pages and pages. It for sure made the book slow down for me in certain areas.

Twisty and honestly a compelling plot

I immediately was drawn into this story. I didn’t guess the twist and I read so many thrillers I’m usually not blown away. This was a great story.

Great Cult Book!

This was a good book! I love cults and this fell right into that. Olivia is invited by her estranged sister to come on a cruise and meet her fiancé. Then things go wrong. The story kept me on the edge of my seat the whole time. I really enjoyed this one, but I probably won't read it again, so it got 4 stars.
