Just when you think you figured it out a new twist presents itself. Very well written!

Least favorite book I’ve listened to from this author

I had a hard time staying engaged, especially the chapters that were constantly flashing back to the boys childhood. I found most of it unnecessary. I wish it would’ve had less graphic details about their past. The rest of the chapters, about current day, were enjoyable..

Good story, ok narration

The story kept my interest despite the whiny tone of the narrator throughout the book. The male narrator did a good job.

Love this author but not her best.

I've read a lot by this author and it's always fantastic but Thai was a bit underwhelming. short and still finished tho

Just an awesome book!

There were a couple of parts that were hard to listen to, but I think were necessary to understand the characters. Can’t wait to check out other titles from this author. Great narration too!

Not Like Her Other Books

This is my least favorite of Modglin's novels. There was one character who was just too vulgar and a few scenes were unnecessarily graphic and crude. The premise was great... but I think the author went too far with this character's actions. Ruined it for me.

Twists and turns

I was caught up from the beginning and when the story got difficult I had to go on to the end.

Stupid ending……..

Stupid ending…….. I actually laughed out loud🙄🙄. The story started out intriguing but then you hate one of the characters so bad you almost want to quit listening to it. Then it goes wierd and has a ridiculous ending .

Plot twists

The entire book kept me on my toes. Really likes the story and the performances of the readers.

Mind blown!

I definitely want expecting that ending. Just when I thought I knew what was going on, I didn't! Very well written and couldn't stop once I got started.
