The story was ok, characters could have been developed more. It’s more of a thriller lite. Predictable story line. I did not enjoy the voice of the person reading she sounded like AI.

What a ride!
Really enjoyed this story! Loved the past and present timelines, loved how it really led you up to what took place and all the series of events. How it took a life of its own when the pieces slowly came into place. When you thought you knew who could’ve been behind it all, how and why, and just when you think it’s over you find yourself saying what the hell just happened. What a ride this gem was.

Theis book was recommended to me as one that once finished you would wish you didn't know the ending so you could read again. It wasn't that for me.

I loved the story but the narrator saying the word “friends” in plural as if she were saying the last name “Jones” for example in plural drove me bananas.

A great read!
So many twists and turns that keep you on the edge of your seat. I thoroughly enjoyed getting to know the characters. I cannot believe the ending!
