THIS BOOK IS AN ABSOLUTE MUST-READ!!!

This novella read much like a full-length book, packed with all the twists and emotions one would expect to feel being on death row and dealing with a cheating husband, after having endured a past of the same from her father and ex-boyfriend. Frieda continues to outdo herself with her writing, and this book is proof! I hate that I devoured it so quickly, but I couldn't help myself. It was that good!

Great ending!

There were a lot of ways the store could’ve gone, but I did not anticipate a few turns or the ending. I enjoyed this short listen

Loved this short story! It had me a tad bit confused towards the end.. pay attention to the details in this one! Well done!

great until unclear ending

great twist great story. however she really should pick one ending and stick with it or make the ending more clear adding her not being hit but still hearing the beep made me wonder wtf. plus she said she saw his dead body she k new he was dead then she turns around and said she never saw his body, was that on purpose or an editing mistake?

Captivating but Confusing

Good story, but character sounded kind of nuts, ending a tad confusing, but interesting concept.

I have only read a handful of Frieda McFadden's books, and not one has disappointed me yet. If you’re looking for a quick yet captivating read, “Death Row” is an excellent choice! This engaging novella had me hooked from the first page, and I finished it in about 30 minutes. The story is cleverly crafted, and it kept my mind racing with intriguing twists and turns. I thoroughly enjoyed every moment spent in this gripping narrative and highly recommend it to anyone in search of a thought-provoking, fast-paced read!

The twist in the ending

Like it was short and not drawn out in unnecessary details. As always she twists the end when I just thought I know what was going on.
