Compelling and optimistic

Amazing book. Excellently written and compelling. Even though a lot of it dealt with the heaviest topics, the hope and optimism in the author’s spirit are ever present throughout and, as such, it doesn’t feel hard to get through like a lot of other heavy-topic books. As a former Nevadan and person who worked with a state agency in Carson City, I also felt connected to the text there. And as an adoptive parent as well. It’s a really great and touching book that I’m recommencing to friends and family.
