Enjoyed to the fullest
I had my whys and still do but she should have paid in the end too. That you call a good mystery story.
I can’t help this but if she knew why try to hypnotize it out of the guy….

Good Psychological Thriller
Her Perfect Secret is by no means perfect but it is a strong psychological thriller. For those of you who love this genre, you are going to see most of the twists coming.
The locked phone screen flashes up a text message that reads, “Are you there yet?” With another that follows, “Did they buy it?” Emily is positive that her daughter’s new fiancée is the same boy she helped years ago. He witnessed his father’s murder and she helped him put his mother away. So, Emily is snooping. Freud believed that what we repress comes back worse. Emily and her family is about to find out just how worse.

Too many loopholes
This narrative lacked both intrigue and entertainment value. Establishing a connection or feeling any empathy for the protagonist or other characters was nearly impossible. The narration was passable, at best.
