Fantastic story telling. So many good twist and turns. A roller coaster I’m okay with riding lol.

kept my interest

This was my 4th book by this author. overall, I think she does good with suspense. I like how she gets straight to the point. She don't waste your time with fluff.
Now the bad; narrator. specifically, the female. She paused in weird places and didn't annunciate to capture the emotions of the women characters.

Full of twists & turns

I read my first Shanora Williams book last year and I was hooked. She has a great (although twisted :) at times) mind. This political thriller was filled with twists and turns. I was on the edge of my seat the entire time and just when I thought I knew what was going on…bam another twist. Definitely can’t wait for her upcoming releases.

Love her thrillers!

Love the thrillers by Shenora. The 3 in the plus catalog have made me purchase the other. The female narrator has a very weird cadence to her reading. often distracting. But the story is worth tolerating it. I hope the thrillers keep coming!!

Love a Good Thriller!

Didn’t like the narrators, but loved the story! It was engaging and kept me guessing.

The narrators

Unfortunately the narrators were not very good. Too much pausing between words or phrases. It didn't flow.

Great Story!

The story was great, Very heartwarming portraying the love of friends during such a traumatic time in their lives. The male narrator was great, the female narrator had a great voice but pauses between words in the middle of the sentence and that got annoying. I had to increase the speed a little when she was talking to keep it from being so annoying.

Good story...bad narrator

I struggled to get through the book, not because of the storyline. The story itself was quite satisfying however, the narration was so distracting because her cadence was delayed. Anyway, read the book yourself...you'll be much more satisfied.

Gripping

Let me first start by saying that I really enjoy Shanora's thriller/ mystery books. The story was gripping and held my attention. Secondly, as a 95% audie this is the second book that I've listened to and been 100% disappointed in the narration. The characters in the story were read with such lack of emotion, artificial and enunciated in weird ways that it seemed like it was AI. The only reason why I continued to listen is because I used an audible credit to get the book. I will continue to read and support SW and her books but likely will no longer listen to them.

Great thriller

I couldn’t put this book down! So many twists and great complicated characters to follow. Definitely reading more books by Williams.
