Love, Love, Love. And loved the narrator. Loved the story. I can't concentrate to read anymore, so I listened to the story and I had to hear it all the way through. Couldn't stop listening.

Hopeful
This is a pretty good start to a new series featuring a young rookie FBI special agent named Shannon Ames. The storyline is really good, as are the pacing and the narration. My only hold-up is a slight one. While Agent Ames is intelligent and full of spunk, she's also showing her lack of experience and sense of team in this novel. She spends most of the story acting like she's got a major chip on her shoulder and feels she has to prove herself. I'm fairly certain that was done on purpose by the author to show her growth as the series continues. If that's the case, I'm all over it.
I'll be continuing the series at this point in the hope that readers will be treated to her seasoning through time and experience.
