About this listen

When Andross Silver was reincarnated, he was the youngest man alive. It's only been downhill from there.

Andross' family has been judged, exiled, and condemned to poverty for the rest of their days by the Gesti household. Andross has other plans, preparing to travel with his friends to the city of Gesti Sky. There, he will find the answers he seeks and more, even if it means confronting an immortal household that has reigned over the world for a thousand years.

But a hidden guillotine swings over the necks of Andross and his friends, waiting to strike. Koshima's nobility has been torn to its core by the Oubliez's attack on the city, and revenge festers in the hearts of those that remain. They will not be content until someone pays a price of blood for their losses. An ultimatum crosses their lips, whispered across the highest echelons of society.

For their suffering to be sated, Amanda Mitra must die.

Book three of an Isekai litRPG adventure about an unexpected hero coming of age in his new home, progressing in power and abilities as he unlocks the secrets of magic in a system that may not be as trustworthy as it seems.

Ok, but the worst in the series so far.

Not gonna write a long review for this one, saw another that pretty much said what I feel about it. I will say this is my least favorite book in this series so far. It's a decent slice-of-life book, which I consider it to be, but the other elements of this plot (i.e. the pseudo mystery sub-plot) where trash. I'm not going to go into why, as I stated above another reviewer already went over that. I still enjoy the world of this series and the MC isn't bad when he's not being handicapped by the plot, so I'll likely get the next book. But this one is only a 3.5 for me, and that's with me being EXTREMELY generous. Wishing the author growth in his writing endeavors.

Very slow paced

The book mostly spent time introducing the listener to new characters and then creating a conflict between Andross and nobles who seek revenge on Amanda's brother for his part in Oubliez's destruction. There was lots of conversation but lacked much dialog that moved the series forward. In all, it felt like a filler book.

Neil Hellegers' performance alone is what kept me from ending the novel early.

Ok book

Was an ok book but felt like it was a pointless book. Am thinking of this book as a side quest. Kinda pointless, but was ok. the only thing annoying about the book is the ham handed attempts to misdirect the reader. it was obviously who was responsible for the "mystery" from the start and the author had to make the MC an idiot to allow the misdirect.

Felt like aftermath cleanup

The first half of the book felt like it was all dealing with the aftermath of the event that happened in book 2 and the rest was an amusement part / "mystery" followed up by a bunch of people trying to bully a literal kid. the next book feels like it will be a lot better because Andros has set his mind on speeding up his reveal that he's a marked one

good continuation

this was a good continuation to the story, I was mislead by other reviews claiming this book to be mostly filler. major plot progression occurs so ignore those reviews and enjoy!

agree with others

this is a great series but this book had so little action that I was left feeling empty as if it was a filler. the whole book has 1 main battle early in and that's about it. I think this could have been better with another 4-5 hours of content.

not bad

the series has lost most of the litrpg aspect yet isn't a terrible book of viewed as a progression fantasy

Great build up book.

Not every book can be the action packed adventure we want. This week was a great read and set up for the rest of the series. This book gives great motivation for something readers from the other books have been waiting for. Also introduces the special details in an interesting way.

Beach Episode

This is your quintessential anime beach episode. It’s pretty light on plot and mostly about a vacation that the protagonist takes with his friends and grandma.
