Started following Ben on Facebook simply because it was so refreshing to see videos that cut through the misinformation and were honest, straightforward, and not trying to sell something. The book is every bit as refreshing as his social media content and had me laughing out loud multiple times with his dry humor (if profanity bothers you, you may not like this audiobook). This book made me think about how I want my life to look and what small ways I can make a big impact on my health. I love how Ben lays out the information but puts you in charge of choosing your own destiny.

Ben does what he always does. Shares an incredibly well-researched, unbiased, empathetic approach that could literally change your life. I loved everything about this book. I’ll be listening to it over and over again.

Great no nonsense approach anchored on science-based facts. The book oozes with logic and compassion while providing actionable paths to progress. I listened to it during my walks and I'm bummed I've now finished it. It has to be read by the author though. I don't think it would resonate as well otherwise.

Mr. Carpenter really cares and it comes across in all of his works. This book seems like it was written just for me. A little nerdy, a lot practical, and 100% honest. So happy for him and all his fans like me who just want to be a little healthier without the BS.

The author has a way with words. Giving you the facts and options so that I can make an informed decision. His many years of experience in his field and the deep dives into science backed insights and studies help me understand more than I could if I read the studies myself. Definitely good to have his insights in your arsenal when finding what works for you. I will share with anyone who is looking for the guidance.

I really enjoyed the book. I purchased the book knowing I wouldn't get a wealth of new knowledge and most who are reasonably health-conscious would agree, but I could see the value in the book anyway. It's worth the read, and I was happy to have the information that most of use have gathered throughout our lives hammered back into my mind in audible book form. For example, there are many diets.....and the best diet is the one that works for you and that is sustainable long term, so more of a lifestyle change in eating habits than a "diet." The writer also reads the book and is entertaining. Fun book, worth a credit.
