Lucas was just your typical guy slowly approaching his 30s. Due to the budget cuts in his company, he had been laid off, losing his job as a project manager and team leader. Just a common occurrence, not like it bothered him.

But he certainly didn't expect to get scouted by another company soon after. Through the RPG game he was playing during a free afternoon? Even less.

In the span of a few hours, Lucas' perspective of the world was turned upside down. Things that shouldn't be possible were happening right in front of his eyes. Monsters were real. Dungeons were real. People on Earth were constantly in grave danger. His relatives were constantly in grave danger.

Pushed forth by that thought, he accepted the offer.

Now, as a fresh intern in a very mysterious company, Lucas has to risk his life to fend off the monsters that threaten his homeworld and his close ones while earning riches he couldn't have ever even dreamed of in the past.

But he won't be alone. His leadership talent will certainly come in handy when he picks his Class.

very cool start

I really like the way they tied in the modern and magical world. characters are very cool and the spice is nice. good job with the narration as well

the slow build up always works and in a flash I'm hooked. im definitely going to listen to this over and over.

this is overall one of my absolute favorite stories I am starting to feel a little impatient about the next book but I really really want it

but I am a bit disappointed in the fact that he got blinded by a bit of free time at the end . he over think everything and then just stop at free time.

A pleasant surprise!

I'm glad I gave this a chance, at first I thought it would be a cliche Isekai story. Turns out it's a creative and fun portal story. I don't want to spoil anything, so all I have to say is give this story a chance, you won't regret it.

Great new story!

I fell in love with this author due to his summoner series. so as soon as I found this and saw it was co-narrated by Erin Bateman I knew I was in for a great time and I have not been disappointed yet.

Well worth the read!

I really enjoyed this on several levels. First I wanna tip my hat to both the VA’s. Both did a great job. Erin Bateman’s pleasant voice is always a welcomed addition. The story itself self was similar to a couple other reads but still had enough of its own uniqueness. Overall this was a fun ride with a perfect amount of action both in and out of the bedroom. My only complaint is that there’s currently only 2 volumes lol.
