About this listen

On June 6, 1924, two male babies were born, one in Derby, Connecticut, USA, and the other in Kleinersdorf, Germany, two seemingly unconnected events. However, unknown to either set of parents was the fact that the two newborns were as identical physically as if they were twins born of the same mother. World War II would dictate their destinies. One would become a paratrooper in the American Airborne. The other, an artillery officer in the German Wehrmacht. After the Allied D-Day landings in 1944, their paths would wind separately through Europe, and eventually come together in The Ardennes during the Battle of the Bulge. Thereafter their lives would be entwined as "brothers." Action & Adventure Genre Fiction War & Military
