**Spoiler** Good Story but it tends to drag on
This a fine book in a wonderful series. I get that there is high points and that the seriousness of certain scenarios need to be conveyed. The duel was over an hour and spanned 4 Chapters. A little much IN MY OPINION. Also, this series, like many others, I feel needs a recap before the book starts...i find this series to be like the Supernatural tv show...so many seasons I need a reminder...lol. Overall though, solid book.😊

Sorry but this book is not that great. I have been a fan since the beginning but this book is a filler for the next one and could have been half the size.

Build up to book 14
Book 13 is a great build after Zac entered hegemony and returns to find war. A lot more insight into other characters, but the boom feels like a build up. While I thoroughly enjoyed the book, it felt like a build up with no big bang (which you can tell is coming). I am craving more adventure, progress, and chaos we come to expect from Zac and the team.

My favorite series
Holy crap the large scale battles are an awesome addition. It's like the series has cultivated it's way up to the next level. I wish I won the lottery so I could fund a TV show of this series

Excellent and enjoyable- just kind felt like a prequel to the main event.
Excellent series every book is awesome. After the previous book climax this was like a book to prepare for the next. Still excellent all way through
