An arranged marriage to an alien space elf? Yes please!

Growing up on modern day Earth, I had no idea I’d been selected from birth to help a dying race save their population. So when a starship abducts me for a royal wedding with galactic consequences, my only option is to help its crew of beautiful officers complete their mission.

The catch? I have to protect my gorgeous bride and new allies from an alluring enemy who wants my immunity to a fertility-killing plague for herself, even if it means I have to take command…

These are the voyages of Michael Kahn.

This is one of those books that is just really fun and enjoyable. I like the light hearted nature of this and the sweet moments interspersed with the action

Can our hero save the galaxy?

A. V. Ray does it right!
The narrators do an amazing job also.
This book is a 5 star HaremLit Space Opera.
Think about one of the coolest things you can do, and it's in this book.
Once the MC reaches adulthood he and his secret watcher/protector get beamed onto a spaceship and he is told that the ship is now his and he needs to impregnate women of the different galactic races to save them from some plague causing infertility.
Of course, everyone wants to have him and control him. He has to fight his way to the princess he's been breed for without getting abducted.
I don't think I'm doing the story justice.
If you like HaremLit Space Opera, you definitely want to add this book to your library.
I was gifted this book with the expectation of an honest review.
I'm giving it 8.5 to 9 out of 5 stars.

Star Trek XXX ...Long Typical Harem

First the narrators are incredible and they really saved this book honestly ..I think the story would be better if less sex scenes and a build up of more drama...wayyyyyy toooo many characters .....too fast ...next time ...spread the characters over time so you can create more audiobooks and not everyone falling for a hero as son as they meet the chosen one ...he nevers suffers hardship. this is a long typical harem space opera..

Capt. Kirk unleashed!

I received a free copy to give my honest review, will try to avoid spoilers. Imagine if you will, Star Trek, but Kirk is allowed to do what he has to without the limits of the federation. This 20 hour adventure does not waste time and is well worth the price you pay for it. Enjoy.

Really enjoying this story!

First let me say that I haven't finished this book yet. I'm just past the halfway mark but felt I needed to leave a review. I'm a big fan of slice-of -life stories in general and so far this is in my top 10 - 15. There is a lt of comedy but more than that there is a lot of story and character building. The mc is a noob to the way of the all the space travelling races but he's no pushover in spite of being overwhelmed. For a harem where the mc is supposed to impregnate lots of women because he is immune to whatever genetic abnormality that makes 99% of the male population sterile, there are surprisingly few spicy scenes. There is plenty of bed hopping but not as many descriptive scenes as you would expect. This of course is another plus for this book. Sex happens in life and just like real life it is never the main focus of that life.

I've never heard of A.V Ray before but they are definitely on my radar now. This is just a damn good story. Unfortunately, life keeps interrupting my listening flow, which is why I'm doing the revies now. Go ahead and purchase with confidence that this is a good buy. It's also 20 hours long for 1 credit. That's a great buy. With all that I just said about the stary and how good and worthwhile it is, I guess I should also mention that Richard Brock and Raya Kane are who make this story a great listening experience.

Fantastic Book

This book was, in my opinion, fantastic from beginning to end. Follow Michael on his adventures through space, living out he version of episodes from Star Trek. Communicate with alien races, find ways to help with alien problems, bed and reproduce with various alien women to solve a fertility-killing plague issue that is slowly wiping out the universe. Sounds like a struggle. Give this book a try if your a fan of the genre. I don't think you'll be disappointed.

Very entertaining, but too much thesaurus action!

The story didn’t hide any of its influences. The theft of Star Trek everything can’t be ignored. The book is clearly a Harem Space Opera. The science is borderline nonexistent and nonsensical at the same time. A ship the size of the USS Enterprise doing barrel rolls and sharp turns without any inertia or damage to the ship for the most part… like ever, is the disregarding of science. The magic system, and it’s a very much a magic system that powers everything essentially has no limits. It’s softer than Gandalf’s semi godhood.

However the worst thing about this book was the use of the author’s thesaurus to verb/adverb me near to death for 3/4 of the book! He/she didn’t use ask/said until the last 1/4 of the book. I might be a bit hyperbolic, but not by much.

The story was entertaining and enjoyable to listen to, but the author wrote like a middle school student! Ironically, that didn’t stop me from enjoying it. I don’t regret my time with Cosmic Progeny as it did everything that a Harem Space Opera should do.

Even if I didn’t know what that would be until I got it.

One of the better space opera harems out there

You’re getting all you’ve asked for with this one. So as usual for my reviews, buckle in.

The plot:
Honestly in this genre it can be hard to pull something off without throwing in a mcguffin or deus ex Mc. This story does a fantastic job of slowly building up the strengths and weaknesses of our cast members to make all of their struggles, successes, and yes, even failures feel believable.

The Mc acts appropriately for someone with his background. I can’t give too much depth on this opinion or it spoils the first few chapters of some very important points. Just know that he isn’t some wimp, but he also doesn’t suddenly become a Grecian God.

The story… chefs kiss. Interesting the whole way through when the intrigue kicks in. Politics can bore some people but when you add in the volatile nature of some alien races, many different customs, new rules and exciting abilities. Well. A stand off can turn into the kind of battle a space nerd would salivate about. The detailed descriptions of the fights whether physical or mental, whether one on one or armies, is something special. It shows as much as it tells and if that isn’t the sign of a good writer than nothing is.

Characterization and Voice Acting:
I know I know, these are usually two different sections. Want to know why they are combined? Because the performances of our VA’s and the writing of the dialogue are so astoundingly well done I don’t think they could be separated. Don’t believe me? READ/LISTEN TO THIS NOVEL AND FIND OUT FOR YOURSELF. The variety in character vocalization, even by the end of the novel, was so well tailored to each character I could tell them each without the novel having to designate them. The dialogue had me laughing, teary, flustered, angry, every emotion in its right place. What. A. Performance.

And here it is folks. What you’re always looking for or skipping ahead to find:

The Smut:

Cosmos Progeny makes it onto a lot of lists on fan sites for a reason. Not just the astounding writing of the scenes themselves, the voice acting being actually believable and not over the top, but the sheer depth put into the variety of the interactions.

There’s a little something for a lot of the pie of tastes here. Not everything and that’s not something to give judgement for. I’ll give just a tiny tastes of what you’re looking into. Astounding and regular scenes of oral. Rough and vigorous sessions. Sessions that explore the mind as much as the body. Sensual passion that could give any romance novel a run for its every penny. This satisfaction with how the different scenes are written is something I can’t understate.

Just. Wow does this author and these VA’s really know what they are doing in this invigorating start to a promising series

I bought this book on a whim as an attempt to dig into the sci fi side of harem stories and I could not have picked a better tale.

Thank you all and thank you for your performances.
