Warning ⚠️ This book🎧is full of triggers too many to mention them all, if you’re a sensitive reader you should pass! This is book#2 of the series and it’s good but not great. It has a good storyline but it was too angsty for my liking…If the author would’ve disclosed what triggers were going to happen I could’ve made an informed decision to purchase this book. The one redeeming factor they get married, have a baby with a HEA. Is it worth the credit? For me if I had all the information beforehand I would not buy the book. If you’re okay with all that’s mentioned you should definitely go for it!

I absolutely loved this book!! Even better than the first! The characters were perfect and story kept me hooked the whole way!

Very enjoyable

This is my second Michelle Heard book. I found it very difficult to buy into the idea of a mafia “finishing school” on neutral ground where young people from every mob on the planet mix it up together. It’s not even a little bit realistic. But, it is definitely a refreshing setting that allows for a good story. For some reason I found myself frequently distracted by the less believable aspects of the story. I think a slightly faster pace would’ve prevented that. Still, the characters were likable and the romance was sweet and heartfelt. I really enjoyed it once I decided to view it as a mafia fantasy instead of a dark romance. However, be aware there’s a big trigger that’s central to the plot. So be sure to check out the author’s trigger warnings before you listen.

Swoon me baby!!!

Michelle Michelle girl what have you done? That Nickoli child has had me swooning from the beginning to the end. Girl I’m not even sure you can top this book. However, I will for sure continue reading. I love all the characters. I’ve added more darn bookmarks to the point I think I’ve bookmarked the whole book. (LOL) Girl I can’t stop smiling as I listen. I literally be in a daze at work and at home. I’m so glad Abigail revealed her truth. But Nick is the man and handled it like a champ. Keep doing what you do Michelle. You are the bomb!!!! Amazing writing

Family love and hate!

I loved the story line. The characters had me absorbed as if I was actually in the story along with them!

This book needs trigger warnings!! But it is such a good book. Better than the first one by far.

The narrators!

Great performance by both narrators. So engaging you are dropped right into the story like you are one of the characters.

Such a controlling, beautiful alpha male.

Loved the story and the beautiful, alpha main character. Main female was beautiful but very naive. Good HEA

Not a fan of fake accents

Both narrators struggled with two accents. Really had to push to finish due to Duncan Cole.
