Good plot, enjoyable characters

I love the positive family dynamics and realistic friendships. Romance was not too overblown. Altogether the perfect cozy mystery. Amanda Ronconi is wonderful as usual

The mysteries that the main character used to solve are very fun! And outcomes were usually unexpected.

I really liked that all the characters had their own distinct personalities, and that made this so enjoyable to read, but after falling in love with these characters, it also would’ve been cool to have more of the romance developed. But maybe it was written this way to keep every thing PG overall it was still really, really good and entertaining. I do think that the author shouldn’t have had to reiterate certain things in each book. I think it would’ve read better as a continuation series rather than trying to recap in each book so people can read whichever book they want first but that’s my just my preference. Also, And I think her power/magic should be developed to be something more dangerous than like intense and helpful to solving the mysteries or the problems in her world. But there’s time for that. I’ll be keeping up with the series for sure. Hopefully there are a few more books coming.
