Publisher's summary

There are three things I know for sure.

One, hot wax on the coochie ain’t for everybody.

Two, diamonds aren’t a girl’s best friend—tampons are.

And three, Tanner Morgan is an asshole.

I’m sure if I hadn’t spilled beer all over him and gave a subtle suggestion of where he could shove his best friend’s dick, perhaps we would have started out on a better note. How was I supposed to know that the dude was the captain of Bradford Private’s precious football team? I had just witnessed my boyfriend three inches deep inside some random girl. Surely you can't blame a girl for word vomit after such a traumatic experience.

King Jock meant nothing to me. He was just some self-important asshole I was never going to see again. At least, that’s what I thought.

When my mom came home and told me we were moving in with her rich-prick boyfriend and his perverted son, I was pissed.

When she enrolled me in Bradford Private and said there wasn’t a damn thing I could do about it, I was furious.

But when I found out that Tanner Morgan was my brand-new motorcycle-riding neighbor, I was screwed.

Nobody gets away with insulting the King of Bradford Private, and because of that, I just became Tanner Morgan’s most exhilarating game. He won’t stop until I’ve turned to ashes beneath his feet, but unfortunately for him, playing him at his own game just became my newest obsession.

Bradford Bastard is an M/F enemies-to-lovers high school contemporary romance series. It contains explicit sexual content, sexual abuse, graphic violence, drug abuse, and coarse language. This series is recommended for mature listeners.

Great story!

4.5 stars

Book 1 in the Bradford Bastard series was such a great enemies to lovers sports romance.

This was my first book by this author and I’m definitely coming back for more! I loved Tanner and Brielle as love interests. Their chemistry was on fire and I loved how their connection grew as the story went on. So much emotion, drama and action throughout this story. It held my attention until the end! That cliffhanger was insane, and I can’t wait to see what happens next.

Theo Sinclair and Maeve York did a really great job portraying these characters.

What a start!

Holy moly! That is all I can say! This book consumed me for the entire day. No one was allowed to talk to me while I listened to the incredible new plot that Sheridan Anne has written! Meet Brielle. She has been torn from home as she starts her senior year of high school when her mother gets married. Now attending Bradford, she is entrenched in a place that is already established with it's cliques. Living next to Tanner, the star football player is not good either. He has a reputation of focusing on a person and making their life miserable. And Brielle is his choice this year! Not a way to start things off. Little does he know, he has met his match. But is it just Tanner wanting to be mean? Or is there more to his feelings this time? Brielle has no interest in a new relationship as coming off one from her old school has left her jaded. But there is something about Tanner that pulls her in! Will these two find out their true feelings? Or will they continue to banter and hurt each other! And what of the connection the two had no idea they had? It's twists and turns packed with passion and angst! In true Sheridan Anne style, she left me hanging with an ending that has me wanting more! I cannot wait for book two in this romantic, bully suspense! It's fantastic!

Theo Sinclair and Maeve York are our storytellers for this one, and Pink Flamingo Productions could not have cast it better. With a sneer in his voice, Sinclair is evil at times, and in the next breath, he is vulnerable and sweet, cautious and worried! He can pull off all the emotions creating a very realistic character. York has a strength in her voice as Brielle, not taking any of what is being dealt and making her stand out! She is curious, a little apprehensive with a whole lot of attitude, all coming out in her voice. Loved this team together and look forward to the next one!

Surprising and Thrilling!

This one surprised me as I was not excited about these HS kids. But I have it go and was thrilled with how much I loved these characters and their stories. I really LOVEdD Brielle! She just impressed me with her actions and words. She has little ability to put up with some things and just blasts anyone who comes up against her. Tanner I liked at times and other times and did not like his actions. Watching Tanner set his plan in motion against Brielle then slowly realize he is actually struggling to not fall under her spell.

Secondary characters are plentiful and lovable. I really liked his friends and the new school girls were cool as well. The stuff these personalities get up to is interesting to me as I went to a public school not private.

I listened to this on audio. Theo Sinclair and Maeve York did a wonderful job portraying these characters. I loved listening to them and believed them as the people.

I eagerly look forward to the next as this one left me hanging and wondering.

Enemies To Lovers High School Romance

I absolutely love Sheridan's books! She does an amazing job pulling me in from the first chapter. I am loving the chemistry between Brielle and Tanner. Their relationship is extremely messy, but you can't help but root for them. I can't wait to see how it will progress over the course of the series. I really enjoyed getting both of their points of views throughout the book. It really brought the story to life.

The book ended on an amazing cliffhanger that left me begging for more. I can't wait for the next book in the series Bradford Brawler to be released on audio.

Theo and Maeve did an amazing job on the narration. They both really know how to bring a story to life. I look forward to listening to more of their work in the future.

I would recommend this book if you like enemies to lover romances, high school romances, or contemporary romances.

Love it

what a read!

Yes yes yes! I didn’t know I’ve been craving a story like this until I dove into this and I absolutely loved it!

This is classic Sheridan and I am absolutely giddy at having read this. It took me back to reading her Broken Hill High series and I gotta say I think this one is better, even though I loved that series too.

These are my favourite Sheridan characters. I absolutely love the character dynamic and development. I enjoy the consistency of their banter and personalities and how as the book went we got to see different layers to them. I love how self aware they are also and how they each approach their undeniable chemistry and how they work around it to discover each other but also how it shapes their relationship. Their Witt and banter is amazing. I love Brielle and her sarcasm, no nonsense, boss attitude but I also like how her attitude and personality isn’t overly exaggerated and drawn out. Tanner has shot to my number 1 book boyfriend spot with his alphahole attitude and yet that deeper vulnerable level of protectiveness and his heart being bigger then he lets people see. Both are a great match for each other.

This plot is amazing. I love the mystery and slow reveal of events and hidden gems throughout. I like how it’s unpredictable and that the story can go any which way and it’s exciting seeing it unravel and slowly reveal it self and that we have some twists thrown in also. One thing I don’t like is the time frame in which it is all happening. Essentially the book is set in a span of 2 weeks and I wish it had of been longer just to feel more real. It’s also quiet jarring to realise that it’s only been two weeks because as you read it feels like the book spans at least a month or 2 not 2 weeks. Otherwise everything is amazing.

The word building is great. We get a call back to the Broken Hill characters which is always amazing and I hope to see more as the story goes. This has been one of Sheridans best stories. I feel like she’s really developed as an author and did an amazing job with this one. I feel like it’s a lot more grounded in the story telling sense and you can see the difference in her writing also. I love how she gave us bully romance enemies to lovers with some dark elements but it still stayed true to the story. It was consistent through out and I hope it continues. I’m shook at how the book has ended and I need book 2 asap because I’m going to go insane if I don’t get answers soon.

Amazing read.

Give me a Sheridan Anne book every day of the week. Her books are my catnip. I am totally addicted to her brand of crazy.

Tanner... HAWT... Brielle.. bad ass and full of snark I just love..

I'll be in my cave listening to this series if anyone is looking for me.

Narration is another 5 star pick with Theo Sinclair and Maeve York teaming up in this series.

What you need to know:
New adult, rich jock / poor-fish out of water kick ass female lead.. back stabbing friends, found friends, unexpected allies, POS enemy/ex.

Awesome Story & Listen🎧A Wild & Captivating Ride!

Wow, what a start to a new series, an exciting enemies-to-lovers high school romance novel, that grabs your attention right from the start and holds it hostage the entire time. And that ending, another wow, a real WTF blind-blow! Brielle is about to start her senior year when her mother uproots them to move in with her boyfriend, and if that is not bad enough they enrolled her in Bradford Private school for the elite and privileged. But wait, it gets worse for her, she and her boyfriend go to a party and she catches him getting it on with another girl. Storming out to leave him behind, she bumps in to someone and that someone turns out to be her new neighbor and one of the elite and privileged, he is also the star football player for the school team and a member of the popular crew. And her mother’s boyfriend’s son has quite the reputation and they live under the same roof. Tanner is so full of himself and he is out to get Brielle, but she gives as good as she gets. The chemistry between these two is electric, the back-and-forth banter is brilliant and pretty darn funny, especially Bri’s dialogue and her comebacks. I admired her guts and fearlessness. Tanner is the type of character you love to hate and hate to love. He definitely grew on me more and more, especially after hearing about his sister and how it weighs on him. A lot of things going on in the book, Bri’s ex trying to get back together, a connection between her ex and Tanner, something going on with her supposed bestie from her old school, and so much more. Lots of great secondary characters, too, including Tanner’s crew and Bri’s new friends in Bradford. The story and plotting are fantastic, the drama is non-stop, there are some surprising twists, heartfelt emotions and steamy romance. And an ending that leaves you thinking and wanting more. Sheridan Anne, thank you for another fantastic story and the wild and emotional rollercoaster ride.

🎧📚🎧And for the fabulous narration, Theo Sinclair, Maeve York did an amazing job bringing these characters to life and did so with a complete understanding of who they were portraying, giving each a voice that suited their character’ and they were believable in every role they played. York was a natural as Brielle, nailing her snarky comebacks like the professional she is, as well as her fierce will and determination. Sinclair nailed it as Tanner, broody, angsty and full of himself. Both were just as fabulous performing the roles of the secondary characters too. They set the perfect tone for the story, captured all the character’s emotions and had you feeling them all. These versatile voice artists are entertaining storytellers and a pleasure to listen to. Thank you for another exceptional listen.
