When my father passed away, I assumed my grieving would be as simple as closing a book and starting another. Only he had other plans.

Leaving me his beloved tattoo shop, I’m stuck to figure out what exactly to do with it, all while being constantly reminded of him.

Selling it was the easiest option, but after hearing some of the artists elated at the idea because they swore I’d ruin it if I took over, and reading the fine print of my father’s will, I’m determined to prove them wrong.

The only problem is Fox.

He’s arrogant, self-absorbed, and rude–doing everything in his power to show just how true their words would ring.

Unfortunately for him though, I’ve never been afraid of a challenge.

Hel’s Ink was supposed to be mine, but after my mentor passed away, I learned he had other plans in mind.

Leaving the shop to someone like Janie was a bad idea. Sure, she may be able to make it look good on the surface, but there is more to running this place than social media posts and some paint. We’re a family, and she’s not welcomed.

Only the longer she’s here, the harder it’s proving to believe my own words.

She’s too young for me, and far too complicated, but I can’t help but wonder what would happen if I just give in....

I went in to this one blind, and I was not disappointed. I love the banter, the heat, and all the rest❤️
Queen Maxine and SebYo delivered this one on a silver platter, what a performance.

Wow!

It was so good sabastian York was amazing so was Maxine Mitchell she’s freaking phenomenal. This story was so well written. I love the banter but i hated the fact it took half of the book for the mmc and fmc to admit their feelings for each other. Otherwise it was a 5/5 read

Funny and Emotional but a Brillant Dark Romance novel

I picked this book on a lark and didn't know what to expect but I'm glad I took a chance!

I'm not going to give it away but I love hearing both Fox and Janie’s pov’s and the actors portraying them made their perspectives made rhe author's vision come to life.

This book deals with the aspects of being broken and trying to put aside the image of the character's past to move forward to finding their forever.

This book has me in tears, it had me laughing (my co-workers think I'm insane now) but most of all it had me thinking about the deep I securities we have when we try opening up to love.

Can't wait for book 2 and seeing how the next couple, Axel and Ren turn out

Heartbreakingly wonderful

So beautifully written and performed.
Characters are so real that they feel like parts of myself even the side characters. Could not put it down. I can’t wait to listen to the next one!

Growls age gap lumbersnack.

Sebastian York and Maxinne Mitchellwere the perfect choice for Fox and Janie. the possesive gruff lumberjack tattoo artist Fox and the young,fun and vivacious Janie were brought to life. this was my first book by DJ Krimmer and I can't wait to listen to the other guys of Hels story.

I find age gaps to be cringey sometimes, but this one never gave me the ick or that vibe. Fox and Janie were a true enemies to lovers and I loved seeing the walls comes down for them both and give into to the feelings.

If I wasn’t addicted to Hel’s Ink already, this audio just solidified the choke hold I’m in. Absolutely amazing narrators who brought this story and DJ’s writing to a whole new level! Absolutely in love with Fox and Janie!!

Such a good story!

DJ Krimmer absolutely delivers in this story of a reluctant MMC and FMC that had to find a way to coexist in an unexpected situation. I loved Fox and Janie's story, and the performances from Sebastian York and Maxine Mitchell were on point! Every emotion was palpable, helping me stay locked in the entire time! What a great way to kick off a series and introduce great characters!

Emotional and Feisty

Maxine Mitchell and Sebastian York work a perfect match for these characters. From the emotions to the spice, they captured the characters well. They had more than my eyesfg watering at times. This story is a grumpy sunshine, age gap, dad’s best friend vibe. Oh and did I mention…the MMC is not only tattooed but works at a tattoo place!!

This book has some heavy content but if you feel like this story is for you then enjoy the ride you are about to go on with Maxine, Sebastian and DJ Krimmer!

Our Lumbersnack brought to life!

Sebastian and Maxine nailed this audio!! They brought Fox and Janie even Hel’s Ink itself to life. They did great capturing the banter between Fox and Janie and giving life to their inner monologue that gave us deeper understanding of the characters. Fantastic job! Definitely an amazing audio that everyone should listen to!
