Far too invested

I need book 2 to be on Audible like right now. It’s going to take way too long for the paperback to arrive in the mail. This was great! I was wrapped up in the story and loved the performance.

Good story

It will be more much better if both of them will jointly in the conversation together. Will be more realistic. Overall is a good story.

Smashing

Very different for the Outfit/Mafia/Bratva genre and most romances in general. Has a weight to it and addresses substance use/abuse and verbal/physical abuse pretty well, I think, in addition to being a drowning single guardian. Doesn’t try to be chipper or unicorns and rainbows. Base concept of contractual sex isn’t unique, but Fox takes it in an entirely different direction and really makes the book different. Enjoyed the characters and the narrators made this book.

Holy heck

I didn’t realize I would get sucked into this book so quickly! Emma is such a great character and deserves all the happiness. What a life she’s had to live. Love the kids. They are gems and add a ton to the story. Emma deserves better. The ending makes me so sad. Ready to listen to the next book.

Riveting

This was very hard to turn off. The character development of the male lead is what really drew me in. Can't wait for the next book to see what he does!

Annoying Emma. Cliffhanger!

Emma an intelligent brave sarcastic womaan is all spit and fire with her boss. Yet she is a total pushover, stupid and scared rabbit with her annoying brother in law. Doing whatever he says instead of kicking hi out to the curve. Her overbearing boss only wants her body and is so mistrustful of her. Hopefully next. Book has a better twist. Narrators did a great job.

Not bad but the voice acting

The voice acting is SO BAD it’s so distracting. The “kids” voices is utterly grafting. So bad. That’s the worst of them but honestly even the main female voice and the constant screaming was very annoying. The story itself if fun and I like the details, but ended up skipping most of the female voice as it was just too over the top.

Amazing all around! Writing, dialogue, storyline, narration - gimme more!!! I can’t write more bc I’m going on to book 2!!!!

I loved this book. Great storyline.. very well written.. don’t have to wait to long to know what’s happening or what the characters were thinking, feeling.. and the reactions and emotions to each situation was realistic.. narration was superb!!!🥰
