Publisher's summary

One event, big enough to wreak havoc on America.

Three men.

Seventeen days.

One goal:

Survive long enough to reach their safe haven.

During the first 17 days of the collapse of America, three men travel through the mounting destruction, seeking asylum in the Rocky Mountains, but finding, instead, the nucleus of who they are as men.

A jaded special operations soldier, a self-doubting family man, and a once-pampered teenager make their way from three corners of the country toward a survival compound in the state of Utah, but they must first pass through a land of chaos and death, a land that will no longer allow them to hide behind post-modern artifice.

With society on the ropes and Mother Nature on the rise, these three men must either re-invent themselves in a condition of honesty and savagery, or perish with the rest of Western Civilization.

Black Autumn Travelers is a post-apocalyptic political thriller and a companion to Black Autumn, the novel, and The Last Air Force One, book one in the Black Autumn Companion Series. The series can be read in any order.

Mat Best vs. the Apocalypse (Spoiler - Mat wins)

Continuing the use of Black Rifle Coffee staff as the characters continues with this book. Mat Best (YouTube star, former Army Ranger, and contractor) is one of three characters making their way through different parts of the United States on three separate journeys in the dystopian future set but the first novel Black Autumn. This book is a significantly better written and exceptionally well performed by Kevin Pierce. The book ends with incomplete endings for each character and one is left to wonder if the next book will have a convergence of all the groups from each of the three novels.

Better than the first.

I struggled with the first book, but I wanted to give this one a chance. This book redeemed the series thus far, I enjoyed it.

Righted the ship with book 2

Listened to book two and glad I did! I recommended after reading book 1 that they change narrators! Getting Kevin Pierce was a great move! Recommend you have book one redone! With a potential tv series coming (which is awesome), want to get the series the best chance possible to go mainstream!

Narrator is the best!

I've listened to Kevin Pierce read/perform many books now, and he's like a father telling a story. The story was good, and Mr. Pierce made it better.
