This is the best end times I have read!

The Beginning of Sorrows was an excellent read. I loved every single second. I laughed, I cried, I sat on the edge of my seat, and fell in love the characters. Please do not miss this fantastic End Times story. Yes, as Mark Goodwin says, it is fiction, but it makes me excited to see how God works this all out. As a believer, it encourages me to read and study the verses at the beginning of the chapters. If you are not a believer, I truly believe you will love this series, also.

I sure do love me some post apocalyptic novels, what a refreshing Christian perspective take on post apocalyptic end times. Author is a great storyteller, and did not need to use foul language or inappropriate sexual innuendos in order to make a riveting story. Sure fell in love with characters I only regret is that it was only three books, lol. Thankful that there is another series/spinoff from this book, already purchased it, and excited to start listening!

Mark has become my favorite author over the last year, and has outdone himself with each new title!

Great thought-provoking story

I really did like this book overall very very much, however there are definitely some things that seem not in keeping with the main character is.. for instance when they decide to go get Rev’s daughter.

that just doesn’t match with all the other things that they were so strict on !!

Who in their right mind in those circumstances, knowing how horrible the virus was with go to California and risk getting exposed not only to the virus themselves but exposing themselves to other marauders and looters etc.
Then when they get there they find out that the daughter’s partner had died from the disease well hello is highly contagious !!!
To me it seem like I made a lot of smart moves in a very dumb one and that was a huge sticking point for me …
Again overall a very good book very realistic and scary at the same time

I love Goodwins books

These books are always riveting and fun, but with a twist of truth and prophesy. I connect with the author’s writing style and have read other books of his. Definitely recommend, especially to people fascinated with end times. Keeping in mind it’s fiction, it’s still fascinating. The reader does great, the only complaint is what another review mentioned which is sometimes it can be hard to tell which character is talking in the dialogue. But overall great job and definitely worth the “read”.

Best book !

I have read many of theses books. Even though fiction I can see it happening. I love how he does the Bible verses at the beginning of each chapter. This book taught me a lot about the Bible and the end times in a lot of ways. Hopefully theses who read theses and don’t know the Lord surely can see he is really and the one and only God.

Everyone should read these. These books are so realistic and wonderfully written. I highly recommend these books and anything else Mark Goodwin has written.
