excellent continuation!

I do dearly love this series so far! it has the right amount of seriousness and a great amount of fun sexy times without going overboard as many harem books tend to do. you can actually feel where each of the characters are coming from and you get a genuine want and need to see where things go. would greatly recommend this book series to anyone who would like more depth and relatability to there characters and would enjoy getting emotionally invested in seeing them overcome the obstacles!

Can't wait for the next entry. Jessica did a great job picking up the characters in the middle of a series.

Great character interactions and even greater story

I really like this author’s work. I was worried about the narration on this one due to a switch in cast. But, Jessica delivered and really brought the characters to life. The author also knows how to keep me hooked. I can’t wait for the next book

Still a really fun story

The overall pace is a little slow, but the story is still a lot of fun and an entertaining perspective on an isekai story

It's fine, I enjoyed the first book because it was something new I didn't know how the writing was. After that the writing kind of got repetitive. Book two and three at the moment feel the same. Book three is just eye rolling. All the characters always saying I love you. So much sex, I don't mind the sex but a whole 30 minute chapter. Seriously??

I came straight off the second book. Wanting to find out what happened when Scott captured him.

He received this op skill from tic which he used. They discuss what it can do when he activated it. It's basically a pause. Like if you play a game you pause the game. He can recover, he can do anything in it for as long as the skill is active. He can legit live there until he unpauses. Time is Frozen outside his ability. Like okay yeah he's the MC. Kinda figured he'd get an op Skill.

Then the goblin succubus brought up sex..... The woman he bonds to can stay in the pause as well. They have no time limit because the world is basically paused. Right when she brought it up I knew we were going to have a sex scene in a few chapters. But seriously three chapters in and he hasn't even escaped Scott are you kidding me. Straight 30 minutes of sex. One whole chapter I'm only four chapters in. I was skipping 30 seconds. Trying to pass the sex scene but it kept going.

I don't know if I want to finish the book. Plus I feel like this book is going to end on a cliffhanger anyways. The story is good okay it just focuses too much on the sex.

Also that thing with tic is dragging. Just get it over with for the love of Lords. I know it's going to happen soon but seriously. It's so annoying that they're still on the argument of not trusting each other.

Average story, not quite as good as first two

I enjoyed books one and two more than this third one. Just not as fresh, not as original. Was worth the credit, but…

Too much "plot" can spoil the broth

To keep this review simple, there was just too much smut and not enough story.

Steep Dive Off A Cliff

This hurts to write because I loved the first two books, unfortunately book 3 just stumbles and falls flat on just about everything 1 and 2 excelled at. Book 3 brings in a much larger conflict that spans the world. It might be just me but what made this series interesting was a character who remained outside or skirting the boundaries of the conflict only stepping in when it directly effects him and those he cares about. That goes out the window chapter 1 while also remaining a background threat. It feels weird when characters have urgency to fight This problem but who also lollygag with seemingly meaningless side quests for the majority of the book.
Characters that had unique identities with wants and interesting goals have lost everything that made them unique and interesting and some characters even apologize this book for having wants beyond the main character’s main quest. That is just absurd.
I wanted to love this book and I jumped to purchase it the moment it was released, but I left disappointed.

To go more in depth on issues:
Chapter 1 introduces a world shatteringly overpowered ability that just trivializes any issue. And on top of that characters shift moods like crazy despite actively being hunted and marked for death, but nope they want to bang now, or maybe a nap sounds nice. Only after they escape the situation does the overpowered ability conveniently develop a downside. And then they never use it for the rest of the story.
The characters are never described physically again. I don't know about other readers but it's been almost a year since I read the previous books and have forgotten the finer details of the characters physically. A simple description as they were introduced again would have been nice.
Tik changes from someone who seems to be playing multiple sides and intelligent beyond her mere form, to just a constant annoyance. She acts like that friend who's already beaten a game watching over your shoulder constantly making noises but not quite telling you the answer to every problem that develops. It becomes obnoxious when for the seemingly 100th time she says she knows what to do but cant because she isn't allowed to tell Andric every time a revelation comes about. It robs the moment of any substance when another character reveals the answer every time without a moment to dwell on it.
What happened to the strong, fiercely loyal, and multifaceted characters? It seems like the moment they become bonded to Andric, they lose almost all of what makes them unique and become distilled into horny __ woman with no care in the world except protecting Andric and when they're going to bang next. Gil used to be my favorite, but now she's just horny strong woman. Every want and desire that doesn't revolve around Andric is gone. If it weren't for the narrators different voices for different characters, you could replace her lines with any other bonded character and lose nothing.

Ugh The piercing whistle sucks

Either the narrator needs to correct that overly annoying whistle he makes when certain words are spoken or get a different male narrator. listening to the whistle the entire story is stupid and not worth the annoyance when you can get it on kindle
