The main character gets a little annoying at the end

I love CJ Archer. But in this book the main character was very annoying at the end to the point that I wanted to throttle her lol. But alas it’s a story and of course everything turns out exactly the way that it should.

Loved this new series - just know it is an adult read and has some racey bits

Not the typical book from CJ Archer

Loved it! Characters are good and you root for them, interesting concept that hasn’t been done 100x, and of course Marian’s narration is always perfect. Warning: it’s a lot more saucy than CJ’s normal books so be prepared for intimate moments haha. I was not expecting that part and it caught me off guard. Looking forward to book 2 when it’s available on Audible. Hope that will be soon.

An avid reader/listener

Very disappointed in the content. Too graphic. Not what I expected after listening to other Archer books.

Not what I expected

The only thing that saved this audiobook was Marian's excellent narration. It was my mistake assuming this was going to be a mystery as many of Archer's books are. The graphic sex scenes were a bit too much as well.
