Elizabeth is the best narrator ever!

I only bought these audiobooks because how much I loved her narrating TOG. ACOTAR is my fav series, her voice makes it even better!! Lol

My god Elizabeth Evans is the queen narrator. She made an already amazing book so much better. The quality of her recordings, and the clarity when she swaps characters sets the bar.

I listen to these books like I watch Grey’s Anatomy: unabashedly and unapologetically binged from top to bottom (usually between the completion of a different romantasy series as a palate cleanser). I knew I’d love the re-release with the Queen of the Maasverse at the helm but was eager for the last three of the series especially. With no disrespect to the original performers (I’m 👀 at you Queen Stina), I needed the continuity and with ACOWAR especially, a less “smiley” performance. You’ve made my freaking summer.

This is my third official read of this book but the first audio version. I was so excited when the 10th Anniversary releases of ACOTAR were announced that I knew I had to do a complete audio reread of the series. As always, Evans does a wonderful job with pacing and narration. I loved every bit of it!

Better and worse than the original

I love Elizabeth Evans and I never thought I’d say this, but Amanda Leigh Cobb actually acted certain parts better. I felt a lack of emphasis from Elizabeth Evans at certain parts. That was disappointing. I was also disappointed that I now own this entire (what’s written of it) series in 5 different versions (3 audio, book and e-book) and she couldn’t add the bonus material to the audio. Really?
