Publisher's summary

[Contains explicit content] Susie talks to Greg Cope White about his memoir The Pink Marine. Long before DADT ("Don't ask, don't tell") a friend invited him to sign up for the Marine Corps summer boot camp. But all Greg heard was "summer" and "camp". Semper Fi!

I'm the lucky interviewee

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

I wrote The Pink Marine, and was blown away that Susie had me on her show. Marines take pride in service, honor and dedication -- and Susie would make an awesome Marine.

What did you like best about this story?

She asks questions that made me think, which brought up memories and points not explored in this book.

What about Susie Bright’s performance did you like?

I made her laugh! Who gets to do that?

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

For me as author, when I typed "The End" after finishing the first draft, I cried. I love a challenge, am trained in endurance, yet writing a book was a journey for me -- the impact was staggering.

Any additional comments?

If you buy my book The Pink Marine and listen (or read), please know how much I feel honored. If you leave a review, I'm grateful as well. Semper Fidelis.
