This book does fall into the same universe as my other series of books I call the Noir series. In those books you can hear about the gritty world of detectives, reporters, and gangsters. Well, that world exists here as well except here you have men and women who are willing to work outside of the law on both sides to get a job done. Whereas the other books focus on the aforementioned detectives, private and otherwise, here the focus is more on the ones that hide who they are.

What you are about to listen to is a work of fiction; it is a novel. I have wanted to do this particular story my whole life. Throughout this book you will see how Satan is always behind the scenes, trying to tear down men and women of God, and how God uses people to achieve impossible goals, sometimes with the help of supernatural beings we call angels. The setting is that of a time during the late 1800s, when life in America was still fairly new and things were much simpler, yet life in general was harder.

When I write I get lost in the world that I create. I can visualize places and people as I write them and with the Sons of Thunder I get completely lost in the time in which it takes place. It is just before the turn of the century where men were men and women were women there was no confusion in that fact people loved hard lives yet they made the best of what they had.

Cash Hollow: It is a short strip of road nestled between hills cutting through between two streets, Lake View and Austin springs. I grew up in the heart of the '80s; that was my era and, in my opinion, one of the best times for a young man to grow up.
