She pulls you in and makes you feel deep compassion and empathy for the characters in the book

Voice actor Julia Whelan (Joan) can make even a bad book sound good sound good, so with this great book and Kristen DeMurcurio , the perfect voice actor for Vanessa —they worked off each other and made it so intensely perfect.

I could not stop listening and wanted the story to just go on forever. It was fantastic—the characters, the science, the social dynamics, the plot, the climax, everything!

I was attached to the outcome of the mission AND the love story

I wanted more of Joan and Vanessa. I loved the slow burn of their love story beginning mixed with the suspense of the mission. Very well written and acted.

A love story above all

I thought about Sally Ride while listening to this and what she must have gone through. Really interesting story

It was sweet story with so many interesting characters and settings at NASA or the space stations. It was a great listen.

Sobbing! 😭 This beautiful beautiful book! The character development, found family bonded by the intensity of their mission and training, brilliant female characters, and a love story to rival Evelyn & Cecilia. I absolutely loved it. 😭😭😭 Everything TJR writes is pure gold.

Another great book! I will miss having the characters in my life. It’s a sign of a great book when I grieve for a bit before my next one. Can’t wait for the next book.
