Poppy and Cole meet on the worst night of her life. He is the officer who tells her that her husband has died. 5 years later she’s back and she’s completing her husband’s birthday list - things he wanted to do before different birthdays. Cole helps her complete the things and they spend a lot of time together. Will the list help Poppy move on and love Cole how he loves her?

Such a wonderful love story after loss.
I loved this book when I first read it and listening to it made it even better. Poppy and Cole were made for each other after Jamie’s murder. I love how he helped complete the birthday list. Cole was such a patient loving man. I love the balloon paint fight. Randall was also one of my favorite characters.

Great story - meh narrators
I really enjoyed this book. I did not enjoy either narrator but Jeremy York is all wrong for romance. There is nothing sexy about his voice and he sounds like a 60 yo man when the character is only 30. He’s just all wrong for this genre.

Omg so sweet
Oh this book. It is a sweet story of loss and trying to find life again after that loss. It is about finding a way to move past the hurt and longing . It is a book of finding your second chance at happiness and omg did this author do a great job! The characters were amazing and storyline moved perfectly! I really enjoyed it and I highly recommend this book!

Emotional in a Good way
This story takes us on quite a journey of emotions. Poppy and Jamie we’re preparing to celebrate their first wedding anniversary when she gets the worst news, Jamie was murdered. Shattered and broken, she tries to live life and start doing all the things from her husbands birthday list he had made. Some are off the wall and some are just fun. I loved this story and the healing for Poppy that she deserved after going through such a tragic beginning.
