Character development and story line were great

Loved the characters from the start, even when they did dumb things. Definitely worth the listen.

Could Not Finish with Audiobook Version

I may finish reading the book, but cannot listen to the female voice any longer. Every sentence she reads has the same inflection and I can’t get through it. Five hours in, but I just can’t anymore. Male voice was good though. Story to this point was good.

The female narrator is AWFUL!

This is a great book. I love the story line. However, I found myself fast forwarding a lot when the female narrator was talking and then just piecing the story together later on. Her voice is beyond annoying! It’s nails on a chalkboard annoying! Only other thing I disliked was how short it is compared to other authors. Kinda wish I wouldn’t have wasted a credit on it.

Loved it

I'm in love with the performance, I loved everything, the narrators, the story, all the love. It was perfect.

Repetitive

"I say" was in about every paragraph and drove me crazy. Overall it was a cute story, but some parts were annoying. for example, the way Braxton spoke to her at the beginning of mature scenes. It did fit the story all that well.

The female narrator’s nasal and emotionless performance.

I enjoyed the story. I enjoyed the male narrative. The male narrator did a good job. I found the female narrator to be difficult to listen to. The way that she read was distracting from the story line. Her voice was emotionless and did not match what was happening in the story. It would have been better with someone else reading the female lead.

Loved the story and characters!

Loved the story and characters! A little more spicy in some areas than I’m used to. Didn’t love narrators man voice but it was fine. I looked forward to reading this book daily!

Good story, bad narration

I really enjoyed the story. It was fun and spicy. The female narrator was terrible! It almost sounded like an automated or AI voice. No emotion or feeling in her voice at all. Almost ruined it, but I stuck with it because of the story. I won’t listen to that narrator again though.

Cute book

I love Claire's books. And i love some "He falls first". Even thought they probably started to have feelings for each other at a young age, Brax was the one to acknowledge it first.

Loved Kylie and Braxton

Kylie and Braxton have been best friends since they were kids and Braxton had always had a thing for her but put their friendship over their feelings. They had a long journey of finding their way to each other and the story was good. Stephanie Wyles and James Cavenaugh were both new narrators to me and I enjoyed both of their narrations.
