Wow! What a sweet and complex story

Wow! What a sweet and complex story. I can’t wait to try more from this author. Took me a while to warm up to the ML, but I did. Characters felt real.

This one was such a good surprise!

What a surprise this book was! I started it because I just wanted a light read since I was such in a dark place and even in a darker mood - I thought I would read such a fluffy and sweet read when I found myself crying my eyes out at the end.

I truly loved Sophia’s story and everything about her journey. Watching falling in love again with her previous home was such a delight - and that was my favourite part of this book by far!! The way she started to reconnect with the people that once were her family and how she truly finds out that belongs there warmed my heart.

It’s a romance story but I truly was there for Sophia - that’s how good she was. One of my favorite scenes ever will always be her conversation with her father and everything he said.

Please, please read this book!! I am truly excited to continue this series.

loved this small town romance!

This is my first by Amber Kelly and I absolutely loved it! So much heart and I loved seeing the characters slowly fall in love! At one point I was so enthralled with the storyline I forgot there was a hidden secret to be unraveled. Can't wait to read more from her!

Beautiful narration. Gorgeous story

Sophie and Braxton are an unlikely pairing (city girl vs rancher). She’s been dealing with so much hurt and feelings of abandonment by her dad. Braxton is a rancher whose aunt took him and his sister in as children when they lost their parents. His aunt. Her dad. Their family.

Sophie’s mom has been hiding things from her and lying since she spirited Sophie to New York as a child. Now Sophie has gone back to Colorado to attend her grandmother’s funeral and see her dad and family that she hasn’t seen in 20 years. It’s a lot. There’s some painful revelations coming. And it’s all a stunning, emotional, heartfelt story.

Loved it, however…

I really did enjoy this book! I did however wish there was more of Sophie and Braxton’s time together told. I felt the ending was too rushed. I would recommend the book and it is definitely worth a credit.

Loved this book!

I loved everything about this book. The male narrators voice wasn’t for me but it wasn’t unbearable.

Great small town story.

My first book by this author, I need to read more of her books. Rustic Hearts is low angst to keep the story interesting, there’s enough spice for my romance loving heart and a story full of mysteries, small town vibes and a happily ever after.

I loved this very much. I could've done without the mothers personality but learned eventually to just go with it. Very good story.

Slow Burn

There was a slow burn between Braxton & Sophie, no cheating or angst. The story was more about the FMC’s relationship or non relationship with her father and family. My heart broke for her father when she learns the truth about her father and her mother’s lies. There was growth in FMC’s character.
